Corbett Lunsford

Corbett Lunsford of the Building Performance Workshop(RESNET QAD; BPI BA/EP/HP/AC/MFBA/Installer) Corbett started the home performance diagnostics company Green Dream Group with his wife just as the Great Recession was starting, and has learned a lot from the school of hard knocks.  He vividly remembers feeling stressed out and alone as technical and business challenges loomed.  Corbett would really like for you to learn from his mistakes and succeed wildly in the business of home performance with the help of great mentorship and excellent training.

Corbett is the founder of Green Dream Group's Building Performance Workshop (a BPI Testing Center), and hosts the Building Performance Podcast. He also serves as Executive Director of the Illinois Association of Energy Raters & Home Performance Professionals, and is the author of Home Performance Diagnostics: the Guide to Advanced Testing.  He has led courses in partnership with municipalities and weatherization organizations, and developed the curriculum for the Chicago Southland EPA Brownfields Job Training Program. In addition to the hundreds of high, middle, and low-income comprehensive home performance testings he has performed, Corbett has presented at the Better Buildings: Better Business Conference, RESNET, ACI, the Chicago Center for Green Technology, Green Festival, and the National Healthy Homes Conference. In his past career, Corbett was a professional musician, and has released 5 albums to date under the name Mysteriam.

John Bergman

John Bergman of Building Performance Workshop(BPI BA/EP/HP/Installer; HERS Rater) John is a Building Specialist for the Chicago Home Performance division and is a Trainer/BPI Proctor for the Building Performance Workshop. He also heads up the multifamily high rise division, managing energy efficient buildings and ENERGY STAR Certification on a grand scale. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech, specializing on structural and geotechnical engineering and construction management. John has worked in both commercial and residential contracting, and loves his career in elevating the standards of both.
